I used to bicycle to work every day, and ever since I've moved to Zaandam I simply kept doing that because, mostly, I don't know any better. Combine this with this nice Nokia N95 with GPS logging capabilities I couldn't help but tracklog an entire day...

The logging capabilities of an N95 are quite decent. They're definitely not as good as my former Magellan Explorist 210, but I'm not using that one because 1) it's another device you have to carry with you, and 2) I'm not liking Magellan a lot lately since they took 3 months! to repair the UP button on the device, a button which can be quite useful when you want to see what is happening above you on the map without having to press DOWN until you've past two poles... anyway, due to this I couldn't bring my GPS with me to Canada, for which I shall forever blame them. ;-)

Even though the actual track is quite jittery because it kept loosing GPS connection the N95 sports tracker app still logged quite a bunch, and it actually made a nicely colored picture too :-)

Here's the picture describing my 3 part journey of today. For now I really dislike going through Amsterdam Noord - it looks too much like a maze of twisty little passages, all alike. The route from the Hempont is a straight boring line, which allows for much faster transportation!

Next stop: add geotagged pictures of weird stuff you can find during this route to this overview!
