2007-11-07 09:41 - Trip to Washington
Where Cees and I took a trip to Washington during the TRECVID conference, and were soon joined by our colleagues from Singapore.
I should have whole stories to tell here... about the perfect weather we had, or about the very nice, and very local, dude who helped us out when we couldn't find transportation to the metro system (and gave us a good lesson in effective cussing as well - mp3 file of sneaky recordings to be added later), or about how Huan-bo, one of our colleagues from Singapore, ordered tons of delicious food in a very nice Chinese restaurant, without me understanding a word of it, or even about how intricate the security aspects of American society seem to work, but I decided to let just the pictures (and their titles) tell the story.
