Last weekend Sybren and I went to a local strobist meetup, or, in simpler terms: a meetup of photographers who like to use (plenty) of (small) flashes (with color gels or other attachments) to create exactly the right kind of light sources for their pictures!

The meeting actually turned out to be a quite big group of people: 20 photogs and 16 models went crazy within an old abandoned and graffiti-riddled factory. It was fun to see everybody doing weird things with the location, and a great opportunity to learn tricks from other photogs.

I was invited to do the group picture, though this probably was mostly due to the fact that I accidentally repeatedly mentioned that we should have one.. strobist style! So here it is:

Besides this I had a lot of fun thinking up crazy stuff to do in the location. Pictures will follow soon, but I've got a few teasers online on my Strobist meet Breukelen flickr set!
